It's a busy month for the Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission! We have our Marine Chevy Freedom Fight Boxing event this Friday AND Saturday. This USA Boxing sanctioned event, attracts boxers from around the Southeast to compete against local talent. In addition, the All-Marine boxing Hall of Fame has their Annual Banquet. The weekend is sure to have an economic impact on Onslow County.
After a busy weekend we will hit the ground running with our Football Jamboree presented by Bob Mills Mitsubishi next Friday, August 12th. The Football Jamboree features the eight Onslow County high school teams along with teams from surrounding counties as they scrimmage to kickoff the high school football season. Gates open at 4:15pm. First set of games start at 5:15pm.
