Due to the uncertainties and ongoing challenges of COVID-19, we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Moore Buick GMC New River Splash and instead, offer a virtual option. Please know that we did not want to cancel and waited as long as possible before making the call to do so. We hope many of you will take advantage of the virtual option to gain points in the 2020 JOSC Race Series.
You will see below that the medal is the same as last year’s medal (for those that participated) with a new 2020 ribbon. Like many of you, we have been affected by this shutdown so we hope you understand our “recycling” of the medal. The 2020 medals that were ordered are amazing and we will use those in 2021 (with updated ribbons) when we are back to a physical event and hopefully larger numbers. This will also help our bottom line. As a 501(c)3 non profit, we are unsure how our budget may change in the future.
You can run anytime or anywhere during May 1st-June 15th. Keep track of your time and distance through various phone apps or fitness watches. Send us proof when you're done and we will send you a finisher medal.
You have until June 15, 2020 to register and complete.

Does it count towards the free year-end gift for the JOSC Race Series?
We're partnering with United Way of Onslow County CHEW Program!
20% of the registration fees will go to them AND 100% of the donations from the donation page set up on the race registration site.
The CHEW! Program assists children in our community by providing backpacks filled with child-friendly, easy to prepare meals over the weekend. Every week, volunteers from the community pack the backpacks, which are distributed to children on Friday. Since it’s creation, schools across Onslow County have been looking to replicate this successful model.
